No. of Positions: 1 Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Windows Engineer Role to join one of our client companies. As a Sr. Windows Engineer, you will provide onsite and/or remote installations and system deployments, configurations, system troubleshooting, performance optimizations, and documentation with a strong focus on cloud services.
Moreover, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Windows-based systems. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of these systems and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. That said, the successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Windows server administration, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
As a Senior Windows Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the Windows environment, including Windows servers, virtual machines, and storage systems. You will need to have expertise in virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware and be able to manage virtualization platforms efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the environment is secure against threats, and you should have a solid understanding of security best practices, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
That said, the candidate should demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, the ability to thrive in a pressure environment, and possess excellent communication skills. Also, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- You possess extensive cloud services experience.
- Possession of a CCNA (Certified Network Administrator) is a plus.
- Your experience with Firewall, Switch, and SDWAN configuration experience is preferred.
- Your Microsoft Azure certification is preferred.
- You have experience with Microsoft Technologies (Intune; Manager; Azure; Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows Server engineering and architecture).
- You possess proficiency with Microsoft Teams administration and design, SharePoint administrator and OneDrive.
- You have Help Desk experience, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, Desktop Central, Ops Utility Manager.
- You have automation skills – via programming (PowerShell, C++, VB, C#).
- Server and Network Monitoring experience are in your toolbox.
- You have technical writing experience (ability to create design docs, write configuration steps, and knowledge transfer documentation).
- Strong experience in Windows Server Administration and SCCM.
- Experience in Vulnerability Management & Remediation
- Experience in Windows workstation patching.
- Work experience with Group Policy, Windows PowerShell, and implementing MS solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities of the Desired Windows Engineer:
- You will complete complex projects with broad scope and within defined areas.
- You will function as lead engineer and Solutions Architect on projects.
- There will be a heavy focus on two or more of the following: Active Directory/Azure Directory, Azure Security, Azure DevOps, Azure Disaster Recovery, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, MIM (Microsoft Identity Manager), and Azure IaaS.
- You will work to provide level II and III support for end-user computing systems.
- Opportunity to build/develop business activities across new technologies, system upgrades, and security.
- Contribute to database system management, deployment, and support.
