Windows Management Experts (WME) is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Microsoft Power Platform Engineer role for one of our valued clients. This will be a 6-month-long project-based responsibility for which the main skill we are looking for is the ability to build advanced quality management applications in Power Platform. In fact, the perfect candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation, and support of Power Platform.

As a Power Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet quality standards and adhere to best practices.

Tha said, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures related to Power Platform development and deployment. You will design and implement custom security models and authentication mechanisms for Power Platform solutions, and develop and maintain Power Platform governance models, including managing roles, permissions, and access control.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with Computer Science or Information Systems as its major coursework, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Docx architecture.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Development Framework & Expertise with Power platform’s integration with SharePoint.
  • Experience with data modeling and database design using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Common Data Service (CDS).
  • Expertise in integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems using APIs, connectors, and custom connectors.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to Power Platform, including data protection and governance.
  • Ability to design and implement automated testing and deployment processes for Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience in customizing and extending Power Apps using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Portal Apps.
  • Expertise in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to design and implement business process automation solutions using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow).
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Event Grid.
  • Experience with Power Platform administration, including managing environments, connectors, and gateways.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform licensing models and pricing.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to other members of the development team.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack Office 365.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Expert-level documentation skills.

Responsibilities of the Power Platform Engineer:

  • Design and develop custom connectors to integrate with third-party APIs and services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of complex Power Platform solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and solution design sessions with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices related to Power Platform development and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures related to Power Platform development and deployment.
  • Design and implement custom security models and authentication mechanisms for Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Power Platform governance models, including managing roles, permissions, and access control.
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design and implement data models and data integrations for Power Platform solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Power Platform solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Power Platform features, tools, and technologies. Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality Power Platform solutions.
  • Assist in training end-users during all upgrade phases.
  • Ensure Timely resolution of problems.
  • Identify, analyze, and document stakeholder needs and defines a solution scope that can feasibly be implemented by the technical teams.
  • Effectively communicate between business units, support teams, and technology teams.
