Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Account Executive Role for the Microsoft Partner Program for one of our valued clients. This Partner Program Account Executive role is specific to our client’s mission to become part of the Microsoft Certified Partner Program.

This individual is responsible for contributing to the success of their Partner Program specifically, identifying and onboarding new partners that focus on the Microsoft Security Stack. In addition, the role will be responsible for working directly with Microsoft Sales and Account Executives to deliver company services to Microsoft accounts that are purchasing the Microsoft Security Stack.

Additional responsibilities include working closely with their sales team to ensure that partner opportunities for revenue are managed effectively and efficiently. The position will also be responsible for ensuring that our client company receives an appropriate level of ongoing sales enablement and training and continued marketing support. You will also focus on turning leads into qualified opportunities by working closely with marketing and sales to create and execute outbound lead-generation programs and other lead-generation campaigns.

Most importantly, the Partner Program Account Executive’s success will be measured based on revenue quota achievement as a result of partner revenue contribution. As the Account Executive, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Partner Programs. That said, you will have no direct supervisory responsibility. Also, you will be in charge to mentor the less seasoned team members in addition to your primary responsibilities.

Also, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work independently without strict supervision and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.

Skills/Qualifications/Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology as its major coursework, or significant equivalent work experience.
  • Subject matter expertise with Accounts Management for the success of professional partner programs.
  • 3-5 years of channel partner sales and channel partner account management.
  • Experience working with Microsoft directly, or with Microsoft Security Stack partners.
  • Practical experience working in the digital security services industry.
  • Experience working for a Managed Security Services Provider, Risk Assessment Consulting service company, or similar security services.
  • Proficient with the compliance/GRC and cybersecurity domains including Risk Assessments, Managed Security Services, and SIEM virtual Security Operations Center services.
  • Ability to build relationships vertically and horizontally within the partner account.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple critical tasks and prioritize them effectively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Time management and multitasking skills to effectively meet deadlines under time-to-market pressure.
  • Excellent record as a team member.
  • Flexibility with supporting mission-critical, 24×7 projects.

Responsibilities of the Desired Accounts Executive:

  • Delivers subject matter expertise in Accounts Management for the success of our Microsoft Partner Program.
  • Identifies and recruits new partners that are focused on the Microsoft Security Stack.
  • Assists in the sales enablement and full partner onboarding process, and the overall management of the partner success and the success of the Microsoft sales teams.
  • Identifies and works with key Microsoft sales personnel that are part of the Microsoft Security sales teams.
  • Successfully communicates accurate information and ideas so others will understand them thoroughly, specifically in pressure situations.
  • Intelligently observes details at a close range.
  • Willing to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Fulfills some physical Requirements. You may have to occasionally lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds in weight. 
  • Works with our partners to coordinate and identify key partner sales opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Provides with and assists in sales training to partners.
  • Resolves partner-related issues and sales conflicts in a timely fashion.
  • Oversees our sales representative that is responsible for developing proposals and pricing for partners.
  • Tracks all relevant partner information activity in Salesforce.com.
  • Performs business reviews with partners and recommends improvements.
  • Understands the organizational structure of strategic partner accounts.
