Senior Level Expert _ Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Senior Level Expert – Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Role for one of our valued partners. We’re on the lookout for a Senior-level resource with deep expertise in PKI, particularly in Microsoft-based environments.

This is a key role where you’ll be responsible for deploying secure certificate management systems. If you’ve got hands-on experience managing PKI for enterprise environments, we definitely want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with designing/implementaion of PKI solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft-based PKI systems.
  • Experience migrating PKI to Microsoft cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with certificate authorities (CAs).
  • Familiar with PKI security protocols, standards, etc.
  • Experience with certificate lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory integration with PKI.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for PKI issues.
  • Experience with security auditing, compliance for PKI, etc.
  • Expertise in encryption, signing, authentication technologies, etc.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and familiarity with cloud security principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities of the Senior Level Expert – Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Role:

  • Design and implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
  • Implement Microsoft-based PKI systems.
  • Migrate on-premises PKI to Microsoft cloud-based PKI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PKI-related issues.
  • Manage PKI certificates, keys, and trusts.
  • Integrate PKI with other security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Perform PKI system upgrades; maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PKI projects.
  • Create, maintain PKI documentation.
  • Monitor PKI performance, security, etc.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to PKI.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning for PKI infrastructure.
  • Manage PKI lifecycle from issuance to expiration.
