Windows Management Experts (WME) is seeking a motivated & experienced Solution Architect for one of our valued clients. The client organization works with customers to design the best solution to fit the business needs.
The Engineering technical staff works to configure, install, secure, and support IT environments of all sizes. The Solution Architect is a member of the Consulting staff and is expected to be able to assess and design, as well as implement and secure technology within the guidance provided by a Senior Consultant.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of IT architecture principles and best practices. That said, you should have vast experience with a variety of cloud computing platforms and technologies, software development methodologies, and project management principles. You should also be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Lastly, WME is looking for some exceptional communication & interpersonal skills in our new team member. The candidate’s toolbox must be complete and diverse. From being technically savvy to displaying a vigorous passion for learning beyond their traditional areas of expertise, they must prove to be an asset to the company.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with vendor sales
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft product line (Azure, Dynamics, or SharePoint) with certifications
- Technical Pre-Sales/Solutions Architecture and implementation experience
- Ability to work well in a highly dynamic/team environment that focuses on providing customer service above the industry standard
- Ability to identify and complete tasks and assignments with limited direction
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical sales and implementation document creation (English a Must)
- Mentoring, education, and technical oversight related to projects and new technologies to internal staff and customers
- Divergent thinking to provide creative and resourceful input to problems.
- Takes ownership of projects, tasks, and client deliverables
Responsibilities of the Desired Solution Architect:
- Represent Microsoft products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Lead pre-sales activities including discovery, opportunity evaluation, pilot support, and opportunity closure.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs
- Perform customer demonstrations outlining both the functional and technical values of the solution.
- Establish and maintain a deep understanding of ProArch offerings and the competitive landscape.
- Work closely with the prospect’s team on platform evaluations and proof of concepts to ensure the solution meets client objectives.
- Actively participate, mentor, and consult with virtual teams to further technical projects and initiatives.
