Pre-Sales Solutions Architect
Location: Remote Position: Full-Time Start Date ASAP Nationality: Any
Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect role to join our team. The person should be hungry to learn and grow, as they will be responsible for overseeing and directly engaging in sales pursuits to help shape the solution and close the sale.
The person will primarily act as the subject matter expert leader representing our solution point of view while helping align the overall deal from the sales, financial, business and delivery perspectives.
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect provides overall direction, guidance, definition, facilitation, and everything relevant for developing current and future architecture to meet our needs, goals, strategic vision, etc.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in a pre-sales or solutions architect role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience writing and breaking down user stories.
- Solid grasp of business processes and technical alignment.
- Strong presentation & communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with solution architecture.
- Skilled in SQL, test data creation, etc.
- Ability to engage both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tech and services.
- Ability to lead solution discussions and close deals using their strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & client-facing abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, support technical pre-sales activities.
- Shape, align solutions with client goals.
- Act as SME in client presentations and solution design.
- Translate business needs into specific technical architecture.
- Develop, maintain standardized solution offerings.
- Analyze client requirements, identify gaps, etc.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile Teams.
- Participate in requirement meetings, sprint planning, etc.
- Write, refine Agile user stories with the team.
- Support testing by creating, executing test cases.
- Extract, manipulate test data using SQL queries.
- Attend daily standups and agile ceremonies.
- Assist with sprint reviews, system demos, etc.
- Regularly seek process improvements.
- Ensure high-quality client engagement, delivery, etc.
