Working Hours: Must be available to work, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM US Eastern Time (EST). This is a full-time contract role with the intent to convert to a direct hire after approximately 3 months, based on performance and business needs.Windows Management Experts, Inc. (WME) is seeking an Accounting / Finance Staff Trainee to support one of our valued partners. This role is designed for candidates who want long-term career growth in accounting and finance while supporting US-based operations.
You will work closely with senior accounting staff, receive hands-on training, and gain exposure to real-world accounting processes in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (CPA preferred; CPA board passer is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks Online is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities:
- Support daily accounting and finance operations
- Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry
- Work closely with senior accounting staff as part of cross-training
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and financial requirements
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to consistently work US Eastern Time (EST) business hours
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and power backup
- Ability to collaborate effectively with US-based stakeholders
Conversion Opportunity:
After the initial contract period (approximately 3 months), high-performing candidates will be considered for direct hire as a full-time Accounting Staff member.
