Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for 40 motivated, customer-oriented Microsoft Office 365 Level-2 Engineers for short-term roles. This will be a 2-4 weeklong full-time responsibility that will require candidates to be on duty fully prepared as they’ll be administrating Office 365, waiting on a queue, for our clients.
The role precisely will be to set up M365 for our customers (instead of merely providing one-on-one support to users.) The scale of the user pool may vary depending on the customer, so the candidate must be able to handle users at scale.
The candidates are expected to have ample knowledge of Office 365 architecture, administration and best practices known in the industry. Also, they should have a strong grip over cloud-based identity & access management, M365 Tech stack & Storage, and most importantly, DNS management. Candidates with the ability to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be preferred.
That said, the candidates must be readily available during US-based core business hours across all time zones. On top of that, they should be proficient in speaking English. This is a top priority. There should be no bottleneck regarding their English communication and interactive skills.
The perfect candidates for this job should always be ready to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals regarding M365 engineering by actively collaborating and consulting with our key technical experts and client teams. The selected candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week.
Our new resources should have convincing people-management skills as they will be working with multiple clients simultaneously by directly logging into client systems under their supervision. In fact, WME is looking for some exceptional interpersonal skills in our new team member. The candidates’ toolbox must be complete and diverse. Moreover, the job will require familiarity with operating systems, and strong analytical skills, a sharp sense of logic, splendid problem-solving skills, and an orientation to detail.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with Computer Science or Information Systems as its major coursework.
- Subject matter expertise in Level-2 M 365 Engineering.
- Experience working in helpdesks or a service desk environment.
- Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience.
- Experience with PowerShell Scripting.
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Convincing ability to speak and write in English fluently and professionally.
- Familiarity with cloud system engineering principles and techniques.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack Office 365.
- Meets technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in a technical role (technical sales, support, networking, etc.)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field, or equivalent experience.
- Development experience at a SaaS company.
- Experience in end-to-end App development with modern technologies (Python, Node JS, .NET, etc.) and using web APIs
- Exclusive experience with mobile devices & user profile updating.
Responsibilities of the Desired Office 365 Engineer:
- Serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert in Level-2 M365 Engineering.
- Sets up M365 for the users of our customers.
- IT Remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Handles security, compliance and governance in Microsoft 365.
- Handles SaaS backups solutions, retention daily backups and file restoration.
- Manages user identity, access and authentication.
- Troubleshoots, describes and understands cloud concepts and associated technical functions.
- Supports MS Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Provides Technical support for Microsoft 365 tech stack including Exchange, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Adds and removes Microsoft 365 licenses and works with distribution lists.
- Works on ticketing systems.
- Creates and maintains documentation.
- Handles technical escalations for more advanced inquiries.
- Supports hybrid networking, networking infrastructure and VPNs
- Ensures timely resolution of problems.
- Works with stakeholders to identify requirements and ensures that they are rightly understood, rather than solely relying on the customers’ stated needs.
- Effectively communicates between business units, support teams and technology teams.
