Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Microsoft Tech Support SME role for one of our valued partners. We are seeking a Microsoft CRM and GP Technical Support SME to join our client’s team. They have a dynamic and high-demand environment for which the ideal candidate will bridge the knowledge gap. They will provide critical technical support and ensure smooth operations of their legacy systems.

That said, the candidate will play a vital role troubleshooting issues and managing specialized projects. You’ll have an opportunity to work both collaboratively. This position is ideal for someone who can proactively manage technical challenges and offer solutions.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft GP 18.6 and Dynamics CRM 2011.
  • Proficiency in SQL query writing & optimization.
  • Background in bug fixes and technical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in system configurations and enhancement requests.
  • Knowledge of Great Plains (GP) and Microsoft CRM platforms.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to self-manage and take initiative on assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity with legacy system maintenance.
  • Understanding of business analysis and development workflows.
  • Capable of identifying bottlenecks and implementing timely fixes.
  • Strong documentation skills to capture system processes.
  • Comfortable working with minimal direction from team leads.
  • Experience with insurance product configuration (P&L insurance experience preferred but not required).
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work onsite when required (Chicago or Lakewood Ranch, FL).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft GP 18.6 and Dynamics CRM 2011.
  • Troubleshoot system bugs, performance issues, and errors.
  • Handle system configurations and updates based on audit outcomes.
  • Manage enhancement requests and special projects.
  • Work closely with existing team members.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the support system.
  • Shadow current employees and document processes.
  • Perform SQL queries and optimize databases.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the legacy system until replacements.
  • Support in the configuration of insurance products.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
  • Roll up your sleeves to tackle ad hoc requests.
  • Manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with audit-related system changes.
  • Stay adaptable and resilient.
