Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for Office 365 Backup Engineer with a significant background in Veeam technology to fulfill a crucial role in ensuring reliable and secure backup via Veeam off the ground. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding critical data and upholding uninterrupted business operations.

As the Office 365 Backup Engineer at WME, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive backup strategies specific to the client’s Office 365 setup. Your expertise in Veeam will be pivotal in configuring and optimizing backup policies, schedules, and retention settings to guarantee the integrity of emails, documents, and other essential data.

That said, you will proactively monitor the backup operations, allowing you to swiftly identify any potential issues and address failures or discrepancies in a timely manner. Your collaborative nature will shine as you work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and rectify backup-related problems. Ultimately, you will ensure minimal disruptions and data loss throughout the process.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:

• You should have hands-on experience designing and managing Office 365 backup solutions.
• Strong expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication, including configuration and recovery processes.
• In-depth understanding of Office 365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to backup operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Certifications in Veeam and Office 365 are a plus.
• Familiarity with data security best practices for backup processes.
• Proficiency in documenting configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Prior experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Capability to optimize backup infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving skills in monitoring and addressing backup failures.
• Exceptional communication skills for sharing insights and knowledge with colleagues.

Responsibilities of the Office 365 Backup Consultant Role:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or any equivalent experience.
