Informatica Developer
Position: Full-Time Location: 100% Remote

Nationality: Any Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Informatica Developer Role to join one of our client companies. This is 2-week fulltime engagement to convert 10 SSIS packages to Informatica Cloud Data Integration. The SSIS Packages are primarily moving data from one source to another involving sources and targets of types including SFTP, filesystem, SSRS, SQL Server, and email. All in all, there are no complex transformations.
The SSIS packages have very little transform, primarily just changing the format to an appropriate one for the target destination (e.g. SQL result set to a flat file on a file share)
As an Informatica Engineer, you’ll work on cross-functional teams that include security engineers, site reliability engineers, and cloud administrators. A prior experience in administering and developing cloud solutions, with strong skills in GitHub is strongly preferred.
Moreover, you will be responsible for staying up to date on the latest Informatica security technologies, standards, and best practices and recommending innovative solutions that improve security posture and enable business agility.
Also, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work independently without strict supervision and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology as its major coursework.
- Subject Matter expertise in SSIS and Informatica.
- 5 + years of experience with a focus on data integration, ETL, ELT, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in SSIS
- 3+ years of experience with Informatica Data Integration
- Experience using Informatica with varied source and target types: SQL, SSRS, File Systems, Email, SFTP.
- Time management and multitasking skills to effectively meet deadlines under time-to-market pressure.
- Excellent record as a team member.

Responsibilities of the Desired Informatica Developer Role:
- Delivers subject matter expertise in Informatica Data Integration.
- Tackle various data sources and targets – SQL, SSRS, File Systems, Email, SFTP.
- Team up with security engineers, cloud admins, and reliability experts to smoothly integrate data using Informatica Cloud.
- Convert 10 SSIS packages into Informatica Cloud Data Integration in just 2 weeks with a focus on hassle-free data migration.
- Design & implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Informatica.
- Create data mappings and workflows within Informatica PowerCenter.
- Optimize ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, loading, etc.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and manage ETL job schedules, dependencies, and dependencies.
- Participate in requirements gathering and provide technical expertise during solution design.
- Contribute to data migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Provide support and training to end users.
- Use your Informatica skills to transform data ultimately to ensure it fits perfectly for various destinations.
