Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Microsoft DNS to Infoblox Expert, who will be working with Solution Architects, Operations, Application Developers and fellow engineers to provide a well-documented, monitored, stable and supportable DNS, DHCP & IPAM plant. Communicating with internal clients and stakeholders to identify new business requirements and design well architected infrastructure solutions that meet their needs. Recommending changes to improve performance and stability at the configuration or code level. Working as a top-level escalation point to perform complex troubleshoots, working with other infrastructure & application owners to resolve issues in the environment. Implementing automation for certification and plant management using Python and Ansibles skills required.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
Required Skills:
- At least 2 Years of Expertise with Infoblox DDI architecture, deployment, configuration, and management APIs (BloxOne, Threat Defense, Global Load-Balancing etc..).
- Experience managing and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP in a large multi-site environment
- A firm understanding of networking concepts & protocols at all layers: TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL etc… Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, Shell, or other scripting/programming language.
- Comfort working with a Linux-based command line skills desired.
- Hands-on experience deploying & configuring another network infrastructure (Cisco, Arista, etc…) Experience with distributed web applications and knowledge of their underlying infrastructure. Knowledge of virtualized and containerized infrastructure.
- Understanding of software version control, deployment & build tools and SDLC practices. Recognized industry certifications from Infoblox and other DDI Vendors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 8-12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with adapting in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
- Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
