Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Data Quality Engineer, which will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and performing data quality checks across all data assets in the Enterprise Data Office. Provide technical direction and support to users, peers, and other domain/feature team members ensuring standards are followed and is a key collaboration agent across WME and the business.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Partners with BI Architect, Data Engineers, Data Analytics teams, Data Scientists, and Data Architects to model, calculate, and track data quality results.
- Analyze data content for completeness, content, and data expectations, identifying gaps in metadata and standardizations.
- Defines and builds enterprise data catalog, creating data lineage and data dictionary.
- Communicates data trends to others in the organization and helps the business make use of the data it collects.
- Leads the evaluation and integration of third-party software and technology packages and the preparation and delivery of data to approved external sources.
- Works with large and complex data sets as well as experience analyzing volumes of data.
Partner with data stewards, data engineers, and BI architects to build and maintain confidence in the coordination of disparate information for downstream consumption.
