Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Networking Engineer Role to join one of our client companies. As a dynamic networking resource, you will monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, document a network consisting of fifteen core nodes and four firewalls running eBGP (External Border Gateway Protocol) to ensure robustness and security.
Through dynamic routing protocols and stringent security measures, you will make sure this infrastructure ensures seamless communication while effectively guarding against external threats, necessitating continuous monitoring for optimal performance and risk mitigation.That said, you will be the go-to guru for Windows Server setups, making sure everything from Active Directory to Group Policy is shipshape and secure. You will also be the architect behind our client’s VPN solutions, making sure their remote access is smooth sailing with Palo Alto GlobalProtect. Lastly, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology as its major coursework.
- Enough experience with configuration/modification of firewalls and ACLs, setting up multiple types of VPN tunnels IPSec/GRE, SSL, Siteto- Site, Remote Access VPNs, DMVPNs, etc.
- Experience with the implementation and maintenance of firewall policies using Palo Alto Networks firewalls, effectively.
- Mitigating security threats and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Experience with administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
- Implemented and maintained VPN solutions using Palo Alto GlobalProtect, enabling secure, remote access for employees and enhancing overall network accessibility.
- CCNP- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- PCNSE – Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and create user guides.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) and its role in resolving domain names to IP addresses, along with practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting DNS services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and vendors.
