Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Azure CSP Engineer Role to join one of our client companies. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client’s Azure infrastructure. This includes deploying and configuring virtual machines, storage solutions, network components, and other Azure services.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and PowerShell scripting to automate deployment and management tasks. They should also be familiar with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
That said, they should have experience with Azure security and compliance, including Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Information Protection. They should be able to design and implement secure Azure architectures, conduct security assessments, and implement security policies and procedures.
The candidate should also be familiar with Azure monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights to ensure the high availability and reliability of the Azure infrastructure.
As the lead Azure CSP engineer, you’ll use your extensive troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues with Azure resources and services. Also, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.

- F5 BigIP experience
- Datacenter operations experience
- Experience with Cisco Unified Computing (UCS), VMWare, NetApp
Responsibilities of the Desired Azure Data Engineer:
- Implement, support, and maintain customer environments in an Azure CSP.
- Be instrumental in the migration of customer environments from our private cloud into Azure.
- Evaluating new & existing services within Azure and how we could leverage, expand, or enhance them.
- Configuration and tuning of cloud-based tools, cost management, security, and compliance.
- Working on support ticket escalations for customer issues
- Mentoring and training less experienced team members
- Continuous development of monitoring, policies, standards, and alerting
- Continuous improvement of automation solutions
- Produce quality documentation.
- Manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced challenging environment and provide leadership to other members of the team.
- Quickly convert business problems into technical solutions and opportunities
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule with engineering team as Azure escalation engineer.
- Regular participation in change control activities that comply with ITIL change management.
- Gathers end-user requirements and authors technical documentation.
- Reviews the architectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and ensures the right choice of solution.
- Work closely with executives and other departmental team members to understand their business, capture requirements, identify pain areas, accordingly, propose a feasible solution.
- Ensures timely resolution of problems.
