Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for Architect Level Azure VDI Consultant, for implementation and delivery of Microsoft Azure projects. The individual will be working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team. The individual will provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
Job Description and Duties:
- Design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Create and review Azure VDI architecture and solution design artifacts
- Develop an understanding of how our customers use the Azure platform and their use of compute, storage, database, network and modern workloads
- Drive strategic and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies
- Manage processes related to modernization, architecture, disaster recovery and business transformation
- Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and decisions throughout the project lifecycle
- Engage directly with customers at the CIO/CTO level, supporting executive briefings and innovation partnerships
- Define architectural roadmaps for Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity utilizing the cloud
- Tooling and developing specialized solutions for customers

- Platform as a Service – Azure VDI, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Container Registry, Azure Data Factory
- Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, Azure Resource Manager Templates, Azure Custom Policies
- Azure Blueprint
- Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Azure Sentinel
- Any of these certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
