Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for an Okta Expert, whose main task will basically be to help a client move away from ADFS and integrate with Okta for MFA and applications that they have. The candidate will be helping with presales as well as delivery of this project.
The candidate in this role will be required to have expert knowledge and in-depth experience with Okta, SAML and OIDC protocols, ISAM, Oracle LDAP, Federation, and Multi-Factor (MFA) technologies.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Orderly audit check – want to know ramifications of switching and what users will see. Making sure everything is accounted for before flipping over to avoid issues
- Making sure that all applications are off ADFS and into Okta
- Might involve guest accounts for authentication so they need to know how to handle external accounts.
- Need to control and audit and explain to various business audiences what will change
- Pushing the business to move and understand the technology.
- Contribute to developing and executing a multiyear IAM strategy and roadmap for enterprise stakeholders.
- Provide architecture, engineering and project support for key IAM initiatives.
- Work with application teams to understand Okta integration requirements and evaluate feasibility.
- Drive proof of concepts to determine solution approach and scope.
- Assist with Okta configuration and test data setup for applications.
- Assist with fixing issues discovered as part of the application UAT phase.
- Provide periodic performance reports for review with management on topics related to process improvements, training and quality initiatives.
- Oversee and ensure the effective communication of risks, issues and updates.
- Participate in vendor and tool selection in alignment with solution architecture.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 8-12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Expert knowledge and in-depth hands-on experience with Okta, SAML and OIDC protocols, ISAM, Oracle LDAP, Federation, and Multi-Factor (MFA) technologies.
- Experience with Terraform preferred
- Demonstrated verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with adapting in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
- Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
