Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Terraform Engineer role for one of our valued clients. We need services of this engineer for a four week long project. Our new resource will be responsible for creating and managing resources on cloud platforms using terraform.
We are seeking a highly resourceful individual with effective coding skills for building and versioning infrastructure against multi-cloud. The successful candidate will make sure Terraform is working with any requested platform or service with an accessible API.
The engineer is responsible for completing the whole Terraform workflow. From defining infrastructures in configuration files to planning & reviewing the changes that terraform will bring to the organization’s infrastructure. The successful engineer will then implement these changes and update the current-state file.
In fact, the person will be a part of a larger technical team that is supposed to work in active collaboration to solve complex problems for the organization. The person will require a strong grip on Windows & Linux operating systems, and strong analytical skills, a sharp sense of logic, splendid problem-solving skills, and an orientation to detail.
In fact, WME is looking for some exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in the new team member. The candidate’s toolbox must be complete and diverse. From being technically savvy to displaying a vigorous passion for learning beyond his traditional areas of expertise, the resource must prove to be an asset to the company.
Must Have Experience:
- Two years of Terraform experience
- One year of experience working with Azure
- Experience in configuring and deploying disaster recovery solutions with Azure & Terraform
- Acquainted with Azure Virtual Desktop Platform
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Extended expertise in cloud-based DevOps practices in Terraform
- Skilled in system-level architecture like Linux or Windows
- 2-3 years of experience as a cloud engineer with sound Knowledge of Azure.
- Extended experience with IaC & PaC
- Proficient with automated single-click deployment, configuration management, and production support
- Expertise in containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and Orchestration tools Ansible/Puppet
- Knowledge of Shell scripting
- Working experience in a 24×7 environment.
- Well-organized personality with great attention to minimalistic details.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities of an Exemplary Terraform Engineer:
- Builds efficient, high-value DevOps solutions
- Develops self-service infrastructure provisioning, maintains delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services
- Sets up secure Windows & Linux environment and container infrastructure to enhance the organization’s performance
- Improves cloud platform’s effectiveness to speed up delivery and augment product flexibility
- Monitors, improves, and fixes cloud infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
- Runs effective processes to troubleshoot diverse operational issues related to the cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with other organizational teams and key stakeholders to understand and contribute to user requirements and then implement customized solutions.
Preferred Qualification:
As we need resources for two distinct responsibilities in Terraform Engineering & MS Azure Virtual Desktop Engineering, the candidate with both expertise will be prioritized.
