Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a full time Quest Certified On-Demand Migration Engineer role for our Migration services department. We need someone who can actually get stuff done without hand-holding. If you’re the type who takes initiative and if you can handle shifting priorities and if you can work efficiently under pressure, you’ll do well here.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines.
The role is full-time (around 40 hours/week), but some weeks might be lighter or shift a bit. So we’re looking for someone who’s cool with that rhythm and can flex when needed. Basically, it’s about delivering, staying on top of things, and being reliable when it counts.
Qualifications Required:
- Quest On-Demand Migration certified (MUST).
- Solid hands-on with hybrid/on-prem AD + Azure AD
- You’ve done tenant to tenant migrations before.
- Know your way around Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, mail, etc.)
- Can script a bit: PowerShell
- Comfortable with complex identity setups
- S.-based and remote-ready, self-motivated
- Can handle client-facing convos without panic
- Experience with Quest tools in real world projects
- You troubleshoot easily and can explain tech stuff to non tech folks
- Reliable internet + good home setup
- Can document stuff
Responsibilities:
- Handle full-blown Quest ODM migrations
- Migrate mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.
- Work directly with clients (virtually)
- Help plan migrations like a pro
- Troubleshoot sync issues and solve problems
- Write/run PowerShell when needed
- Keep migrations on track
- Prep and clean up environments pre/post migration
- Document the process
- Support post migration handoffs
