Windows Management Experts (WME) is seeking candidates for a full-time Oracle Tester in Reston, VA. Oracle Tester position responsible for testing and related duties on a small, dedicated team operating within a Client Oracle-based applications. This Test member should possess solid working knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within testing. The position will also document, and track software defects identified through testing and work with developers and support engineers to resolve outstanding issues.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
The Oracle Tester will:
- Have more than 2+ years of experience working with Oracle financials application (Rel 12.2.4 and above).
- Have at least worked on one of the application modules such as PO AP AR Budget Fed-Admin Projects, etc.
- Have some exposure and knowledge of external entities and systems that can interface with Oracle financials such as CLM, GRC, OBIEE, MarkView, and Sunflower.
- Have worked with external interfaces and should be aware of SOA or file transfer methods for interface testing.
- Be able to compile Test Plan and Requirements document that will be used for Testing.
- Be able to work with functional design documents to create test scenarios.
- Be able to create test scripts in Oracle for the scenario identified and then identify the data for testing that scenario.
- Be involved with Agile testing and should know such methodology
- Be involved with System Integration Test Regression Testing User Acceptance Testing cycles.
- Know test tools used to house scenarios/scripts/defects such as the Rational Quality Manager RTC Quality Center.
- Have ability to work on SQL and automation in tools such Client UFT or Selenium.
- Be willing to work with other teams such as functional development for testing coordination.
- Support other test related activities on the project as and when required.
- Have HPUFT experience for automation test script development.
- Have Load Runner experience resources for performance test script development.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge on TRIO (CWMD, TSA and USCG) Project is a Preferred
- Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science or a related field
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Active DOD or DHS Clearance
