Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join one of our client companies. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations for our client’s business strategies. Your ability to identify trends, spot opportunities, and translate data into actionable solutions will be key to driving success in this role.
As part of the Data Analytics team, you will continuously enhance data quality, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of datasets. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your keen attention to detail will contribute significantly to the success of the projects you are assigned to.

That said, the candidate should demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, the ability to thrive in a pressure environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
Also, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work effectively in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. That said, the preferred candidate should expect to work 40 hours per week and should be flexible enough to work part-time hours as well.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role in the retail industry.
- Minimum of one-year work experience in data analysis in an academic or professional setting.
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of research and analysis, including project conceptualization, data collection planning, implementation, data management, statistical analysis, and presentation to stakeholders.
- Skilled in mining and delivering descriptive statistics, with a working knowledge and desire to expand into exploratory and confirmatory data analysis projects.
- Strong understanding of measurement theory and causal inference using non-experimental data.
- Familiar with data analysis programs, such as R, Stata, Visual Basic, Mega Stat, or SPSS. –this should be more than familiar – fluency in at least one of these programs is essential la with preference given for familiarity with the others.
- Fluency in SQL preferred.
- Recent experience in cleaning data, preparing datasets, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Advanced Understanding of Excel.
- Experience with visualization software, such as Tableau,
- Experience with multivariate analysis, including generalized linear models.
- Ability to work well with others and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain data collection processes and results to several distinct audiences with varying levels of education, technical proficiency, and comfort with statistics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A commitment to, and understanding of, client confidentiality.
- A desire to provide a better and more successful representation of Philadelphia’s indigent accused.
Desired: Experience in law enforcement, real estate, operations management, and statistics a plus.
Highly Desired/Preferred: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities of the Desired Data Analyst:
- Work closely with office staff and management to compile and summarize broad statistical information for use in developing internal reports, funding proposals, and external communications to various stakeholders.
- Liaise with experts in the fields of civil/real estate, mathematics, and computer science on data projects relating to policing, indigent defense, and criminal justice.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze internal and external data to inform policy decisions and public commentary on law enforcement operations.
- Identify shortcomings in available datasets and develop collaborative collection methods to respond to long-term Policy and other unit needs relating to caseload, workflow, and client outcomes.
- Liaise between legal staff and IT department to ensure precise and accurate communication of data needs and availability.
- Provide statistical commentary on external reports and publications to ensure proper interpretation.
- Collaborate with different departments within the organization to design and conduct surveys and research studies, gathering data on specific issues related to public safety and community engagement.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for relevant teams.
- Work with external vendors and data providers to access and integrate relevant third-party data sources, such as demographic data, socioeconomic indicators, and geospatial information.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement data quality and data governance best practices, establishing protocols for data cleaning, validation, and data security.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data modeling, retail analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
