Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, which will be responsible to oversee and directly engage in sales pursuits to help shape, solution, propose, and close the sale. Primarily acts as the subject matter expert leader representing the client solution point of view while helping align the overall deal from the sales, financial, business and delivery perspectives. Must help shape, develop, and maintain the client’s portfolio of standardized solutions offerings by understanding client and industry trends and client’s strategy, core competencies, and partner perspectives to enable a differentiated and compelling value proposition to client’s target market.
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect provides overall direction, guidance, definition, and facilitation for developing current and future architecture to meet client’s needs, goals, and strategic vision. Need to interface across all departments, acting as a visionary to assist in defining the direction for future solutions proactively.
WME will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to maintain high-quality customer experience. The individual must have technical expertise, passion for learning beyond their JDs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
REQUIRED
- Speaks and understands the language of our Business when communicating with the Product Owners and Business Users, and the technical language of our Agile Teams when communicating with Developers and Testers.
- Collaborates with the Product Owner in order to gain a clear understanding of all business processes, procedures, goals, and objectives.
- Attends and is an active participant in requirements meetings held by the Business in order to further understand Business priorities.
- Analyzes proposed changes and identify gaps in requirements. This may include changes to current processes, applications, file layouts, and web services.
- Works in partnership with the Product Owner to write clear and concise Agile user stories. Breaks down larger user stories into multiple, smaller, user stories according to departmental standards.
- Assists the Product Owner to record priority order to ensure it is done frequently, completely, and in a timely manner.
- Attends and engages in daily standup meetings along with other agile team ceremonies.
8. Follows departmental testing processes to create and document test cases, execute the test cases for the assigned stories, verify and report the results. - May extract test data from databases by creating new, or altering existing, basic SQL queries. The data will be used for testing and verification of results.
- Expected to swarm user stories in order to help the team meet their commitments for the sprint.
- Assists the Product Owner and Scrum Master to prepare for Team Sprint Reviews and System Demos.
- Constantly looks for ways to improve processes and discuss issues, all in order to deliver better value to the customer.

- Gain an understanding of Dewpoint’s technology roadmap and provide technical input to the Leadership Team.
- Oversee the definition of the future-state and current-state solutions architecture and uses it to identify and guide projects.
- Develop and deliver solution presentations to clients and tailor content to business value.
- Lead efforts to define/refine Dewpoint’s standard offering portfolio, artifacts, and IP
