Windows Management Experts (WME) is looking for a Business Analyst role for one of our valued clients.
We need Business Analyst’s services in our office of Innovation & Technology for a period of 4 months. Our new resource will be responsible for handling the job of assessing the customer needs and finding relevant technological ways of delivering those requirements. The required resource must be adept at system-wide data collection, reporting and analysis for community engagement activities and services.
The concerned department needs to document business needs and use cases to identify functional and technical needs for data collection, reporting and analysis for its Emergency Services Unit and system-wide community engagement activities and services.
The resource should fulfill the above-mentioned needs by assisting our developers in developing and implementing an electronic application to perform these functions.
The person we looking for should be able to use specialized analysis tools to extract and interpret the data gathered by our team. The candidate must respond to data-related queries and keep track of all developments while maintaining a routine of analyzing data to identify trends. That said, the candidate is also supposed to find new ways to make use of data in every possible way to derive useful insights.
In fact, the candidate will be a part of a larger technical team that is supposed to work in active collaboration to solve complex problems for the organization. It will require familiarity with operating systems, and strong analytical skills, a sharp sense of logic, splendid problem-solving skills, and an orientation to detail.
In fact, WME is looking for some exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in the new team member. The candidate’s toolbox must be complete and diverse. Must Have Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably within an IT
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis.
- Extensive experience with relevant Business analysis tools such as MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with any of Computer Science/Information Systems/Business Analysis/ as its major coursework.
- Excellent communication skills with a special focus on listening to accurately assess & document stakeholders’ needs and business use cases.
- Expertise in assessing and presenting client needs and business logic via interviews to produce clear & concise documentation.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Expert-level documentation skills.
- Expertise with Processes modeling.
- Thorough understanding of networks, databases and other technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound interpersonal, conversational, and negotiating skills.
- Word Expertise: Must be able to create project artifacts including requirements.
- Visio Expertise: Process flows, workflows, and system/environment architecture diagrams.
- Skilled at working as translating bridge between technical and non-technical contributors.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Identifies, analyzes, and documents stakeholder needs and defines a solution scope that can feasibly be implemented by the assigned business units.
- Works with stakeholders to identify requirements and ensures that they are rightly understood, rather than solely relying on the customers’ stated needs.
- Conducts gap analyses to identify the alignment/misalignment of the current solution with the defined stakeholder needs & solution scope.
- Applies strong business logic, communication skills and a complete understanding of the customer needs in project documentation.
- Effectively communicates between business units, support teams and technology teams.
- Translates business requirements to System/Functional requirements.
- Prepares the Business Requirements Document with use-cases, and the Functional and Technical Requirements Document that includes use-cases.
